Gavin Hegney is Executive Chairman and founder of the Hegney Property Group and is one of Australia’s most prominent and influential voices in property.

During the past 30 years, Gavin has been an integral member of Western Australia’s property industry, having seen three booms, three busts and three market cycles.

As a successful investor in his own right and author of the book “The Residential Property Market”, Gavin has become one of WA’s most sought after and highly respected property commentators, providing independent property comment to all mediums of media and for the last 10 years has been the resident property expert on ABC talkback radio.

Gavin researches both the property and financial markets extensively both locally and abroad and has undertaken vast studies of the share market in order to gain full understanding of the balance of investment and how the various markets fit together.

Gavin’s innovative vision and leadership has seen the Hegney Property Group emerge as a dynamic independent property company and he spends much of his time presenting as keynote speaker to a diverse range of corporate groups at both state and national levels.
