What is involved in the valuation process?
Depending on the type of property, the valuation process will include the following:
Hegney's will contact you to arrange a convenient time to inspect the property. If the property is leased, the tenant will be contacted and an access time arranged.
Site visit with inspection of internal and external improvements.
Measure up improvements (or obtain house plans) and take photographs.
Search the Certificate of Title and confirm the zoning of the land.
Investigate and analyse all relevent sales evidence and market trends.
Provide a written valuation report compliant with Australian Property Institute (API) standards. The scope, content and format of the report will vary depending on the type of the purpose of the valuation.
